Marine Engineering

We offer the following services to support the Marine engineering industry

Marine Engineering

Our sulphuric anodising services use an electrolytic process to produce a wear- and corrosion-resistant oxide layer, united with the substrate.

  • Uniform coating distribution that is aesthetically pleasing and, when sealed, the surface finish is easy to maintain

  • 5 – 25 microns thickness

  • Black Dye available

  • Fully RoHS-compliant process

Similar to sulphuric anodising, but processed at a lower concentration of sulphuric acid, and a lower temperature, producing a far thicker and harder surface suited for marine environments and engineering purposes.

  • 25 – 80 microns thickness

  • Black Dye available

  • Fully RoHS-compliant process

  • Uniform coating distribution that is aesthetically pleasing and, when sealed, the surface finish is easy to maintain

  • 5 – 25 microns thickness

  • Fully RoHS-compliant process

At Corodine, we process the deposition of zinc onto a ferrous metal substrate by electrolysis, generating a corrosion-resisting, sacrificial decorative coating.

  •  5 – 25 microns thickness

  • Clear and colour passivate available

  • Fully RoHS-compliant process

Iridite NCP Chrome-free conversion coating that can be used as a final finish, with corrosion resisting properties that match its hexavalent equivalents on many alloys, or act as a base for paint, powder coat, lacquers, or bonding.

  • Fully RoHS, ELV, and WEEE-compliant process
